April is an Educational Therapist and Learning Specialist focused on helping students in grades 9-12 take ownership over their challenges. Whether diagnosed with learning, behavioral, and/or mental health disorders, or struggling with executive function challenges, April believes that naming a challenge allows students to move forward with strategies that lead to more confidence and personal success.

April meets her students where they are with compassion and grace. Dedicated to student advocacy and visibility, her overall goal is to ensure that students see themselves as the whole, light-filled humans that they are.

Flat-Rate Attention Assessments

  • Implementation of the Swanson, Nolan, and Pelham Teacher & Parent Rating Scale (SNAP IV)
  • Implementation of the Conners Rating Scale for adolescents age 14-18
  • Parent and student interviews to discuss concerns at school and at home
  • Student observation in either the home or school setting
  • Clinical write-up including results of rating scales, diagnostic impressions, suggested accommodations in the school environment, and information for further support

Executive Function Sessions on Zoom

Five (5) session package to address time management, homework completion, task initiation, study strategies, and self-regulation.
